About
My research group studies lattice locations and jump frequencies of impurity atoms in compounds through measurements of nuclear quadrupole interactions. We measure the interactions using perturbed angular correlation of gamma rays (PAC) and are beginning to calculate energies of atoms and electric field gradients at nuclei using WIEN2k, a full-potential electronic structure program. I teach at all levels and am active in faculty governance.
